Video FAQ.


  1. Are we meeting the videographer(s) that will be actually be shooting our wedding?
  2. Absolutely! All weddings are photographed and "filmed" by us, Ed & Lori Rogers. We are the owners of Rogers Photography and are responsible for all of the work coming from our studio.
  3. How long has your studio been in operation?
  4. Great question! Rogers Photography was founded in 1992 and is a full service professional photographic studio. "Full Service" means everything is done in house by us (the owners). We are the photographers, videographers, editors, audio engineers, graphic designers, planners, and (in exclusive instances) printers of all of the work coming from our studio. Nobody else handles any of our work except us with the only "exception being the actual binding/printing of wedding albums.
  5. How many videographers cover our event?
  6. There are always two videographers covering your event. We use up to three cameras to ensure complete coverage.
  7. What stye videography do you provide?
  8. We exclusively provide candid, documentary style coverage. We do not use music beds. Click here for more information.
  9. Are you insured?
  10. Yes. Since the day we opened our studio we have carried full insurance. To date we have never needed it for any reason.
  11. Are the digital files included with our package?
  12. We provide a finished video which is edited to include the highlights of your day. We do not include "RAW", individual or unedited files/clips to clients.
  13. Tell me about the finished video.
  14. The finished video we provide includes basic color and sound correction. As mentioned it is documentary style. It does not include any type of music bed, voice overs or special effects. It includes the highlights of the day as determined by us. If the ceremony and speeches are long we will provide an abridged version. Upon request we will include the ceremony and/or speeches in their entirety. Note: this will significantly affect the length and file size of the video and may require additional fees if they exceed our maximum file size of 3gb for the final cut. It is provided in a significantly compressed HD .mp4 format for maximum playback compatibility online and on a wide variety of devices.  Final video can run up to 30 minutes depending on the events that take place that day.
  15. Do you post videos online?
  16. While we may occasionally post special abridged versions on social media to showcase our work and style we do not provide specific viewing galleries to clients. A download link to the finished video is provided and the client may post that video where they choose for friends and family to view.
  17. Are your prices online?
  18. Yes. Our complete price brochure is online for anyone to view and download. It includes our packages and "a la cart" items. To save time, we encourage everyone interested in our studio do download and review our pricing to be sure it meets their budget expectations. We're always available to answer any questions so please give us a call or email us if you have any.
  19. All wedding events require a detailed contract which must be signed by both clients and the studio.
